VENERE

Venere mirror, designed by Dino Gavina and manufactured by Paradisoterrestre Material, features a silkscreened mirror with MDF frame. Dino Gavina met Man Ray in Paris. At the beginning the meeting was tense as Man Ray thought he was speaking to a journalist or a critic. Then his aggressive mood turned into kindness when he realized that Gavina wanted nothing but knowing him. From the corridor then they moved to his studio and they stayed together for hours. In that very moment an extraordinary friendship was born and an artistic brotherhood for a lifetime. Presented in 2012 at the Milan Triennale for the exhibition "Kama - sex and design".
