THE GLOBE

The Globe table lamp designed by Joe Colombo for Oluce. It is a simplistic and appealing design manufactured from hand-blown glass, producing a remarkable ambient light with the help of an internal metal reflector. The twisted metal reflector (as well as the square base) is in satin nickel or satin gold with anodic bronze, producing the glimmering light a complex metallic reflection. The shade is slightly sunken into the base, providing a stable position on tabletops. When illuminated, this table lamp casts direct light that is perfect for use on a bedside table, console table or side table.
