DUPLEX DESIGN

Duplex presents The Italic Chair designed by Haris Fazlani, co-founder WØRKS, an award-winning creative studio based in New York City.

The Italic Chair was designed to be a working sculpture, infused with a sense of visual precariousness, despite being entireley stable. Inspired by the work of Constantin Brancusi, the chair is tilted at a 12 degree angle to create a sense of movement while remaining a usable and versatile chair, with no visible joinery.
Thanks to its material, solid Ashwood in Black it gives a sense of elegance and composure.
