The Solar XL sofa, designed by Faye Toogood for Tacchini, evolves the original project with more generous proportions and enhanced comfort, while maintaining its soft, sculptural character.

The Solar XL sofa expands the collection’s iconic language with a deeper, more generous seat conceived for contemporary comfort. The new extra-comfort padding configuration enhances the sense of relaxation, making the sofa a central presence within the space. Its full, layered volumes recall a stack of cushions, combining sculptural aesthetics with softness. The intentionally textured and slightly wrinkled upholstery emphasises the quilted surfaces, inviting a tactile and informal experience.
