Coupe table lamp designed by Joe Colombo for Oluce. The Coupé series was initially conceived as a variation of the Spider family the smart yet simple mechanism that attaches the stem to the head makes it possible to direct the beam in several directions, by moving the head up, down and sideways. This lamp gives direct light and is perfect for a desk, workspace or small area light. The base is in lacquered metal with the stem plated with chromium. The adjustable reflector is lacquered aluminum. Coupé won the ”International Design Award” of the American Institute of Interior Designers in Chicago and is part of the permanent collection at both the MoMA in New York and the ”Neue Sammlung” Museum in Munich.
