E63

E63 is a re-edition of a historic table lamp with precise design: simple lines seem to contain wide surfaces, creating the illusion that light takes on a solid, tangible form.

This iconic table lamp from 1963 bears the signature of Master Umberto Riva: part architect, part designer, part artist, part tamer of light… and much more than that. Hence the name, E63, an alphanumeric code chosen by Tacchini to capture the intellectual complexity of its designer. The lamp is made of steel, almost like a shell protecting the precious light source within.
