La Michetta by Gaetano Pesce for Meritalia is a sofa that does not conform to a predetermined style: it is an object made up of many objects, eclectic modules to be continuously played with and reorganized. 
The capitonné rises randomly, at times plunging and at times levitating, in contrast with the regularity of each rectangular or cubic module with wooden structure. The buttons mark the hollows of the surface and punctuate it, outlining a three-dimensional and irregular pattern that invites to explore the comfort of the seat.
Limitless, even in its uses. The Michetta is for sitting down, for relaxing. Indeed, the very meaning of sitting down and relaxing is reconsidered, depending on whether the module is horizontal or vertical, if used as seat or backrest or armrest, single or multiple.
