Butter Sofa by Tacchini is the new expression of sculptural comfort by Faye Toogood, unveiled at Salone del Mobile 2025. Inspired by a simple and poetic gesture - shaping a stick of butter with your fingers - Butter transforms an everyday experience into a striking, welcoming and tactile modular sofa.

Soft as butter and generous in its proportions, Butter is composed of voluminous upholstered elements reminiscent of building bricks, easily aggregated into free and customizable configurations. Its presence is playful yet solid, enveloping and reassuring, designed to redefine the concept of relaxation with a new formal language of curves, fullness and matter.

With Butter, Toogood studio confirms its experimental vision, capable of fusing craftsmanship, sculpture and design with a human and sensory approach. The sofa thus becomes part of a larger family - Bread and Butter - in which even accessories, such as the glazed ceramic tray, take on a sculptural and functional role. The same rounded, sensual shapes return in this versatile object, designed to accommodate everything from lemons to toast to more personal items.

Butter is a project that celebrates the beauty hidden in simple, everyday gestures, bringing the language of sculpture into our domestic spaces through emotional, fluid and contemporary design.
