Alias 762 Atlas Stool 80 Backrest in Black Leather and Lacquered Steel Frame by Jasper Morrison

High stool with lacquered steel base plate, leg in conic lacquered steel, swivel seat in plywood and back in plywood and expanded polyurethane, upholstered with eco-leather Serge Ferrari® or Camira® or Kvadrat® fabric.

Born in London in 1959, he trained in the UK, Germany, and the US. His most important designs include those carried out for Üstra: his “Hannover Tram” won the IF Transport Design and IF Ecology ‘97 awards. In 1999 he was commissioned to design the complete interior of the Tate Gallery in London, and he was editor of the 14th International Design Yearbook. He has been working with Alias since 1992, and designed the atlas system and tagliatelle (2011) for them. He lives and works in London and Paris.
